I've always been interested in moving narrative. In the early days on on film and vhs tape, later testing out clunky laborious editing tools for a digital feed. Most of what took hours and days can now now be accomplished in a series of drop and drag clicks.

The Human Toll
The Human Toll On May 24, 2020 the New York Times published names, ages, places and brief narrative biographies of the 100,000 COVID deaths in the United States. This is my reflective, creative response to this moment. Grieving and commemorating the lives lost.

Taken
Artist book, Taken began with trace monotype lines lifting shades of grey, using different tools with each page. Days after George Floyd and so many, too many other black and brown lives lost to police violence. TAKEN.
